New releases for Tasks are available to alpha and beta testers before they are released publicly
- After registering to become a pre-release tester it can take several hours to begin receiving pre-release versions from the Google Play Store
- If you have multiple Google accounts make sure you opt-in with the same Google account that you used to download Tasks
To join the beta test channel​
Visit here and click 'Become a tester'
To join the alpha test channel​
Perform the following steps:
- Join the beta test channel
- Join the tasks-alpha Google Group
To leave the alpha test channel​
Leave the tasks-alpha Google Group
To leave the alpha and beta test channels​
Visit here and click 'Leave the program'
